Semistability of Picard sheaves and a generalised Clifford theorem

In our study of bundles on a smooth projective curve, I will start with a generalisation of Clifford's theorem to higher rank. After that, I will talk about sheaves on the Jacobian induced by bundles on the curve. If the bundle is semistable and general, then the induced sheaf is semistable as well.
