Defect of a hypersurface via logarithmic differential forms
The Hodge numbers of a resolution of a nodal double solid or a nodal hypersurface in P4 depends not only on the number of nodes but also on their position express in terms of the so called defect. I will discuss generalization of these two classical results due to Clemens and Werer. The proofs depends in essential way on certain properties of sheaves of logarithmic differential forms.
